MyDriveSafe.Expert - Quick Start Guide

There are 4 simple steps to setup your MyDriveSafe.Expert account once you have accessed the Administrator portal. 


1. ENTER DRIVERS - Add your drivers name and email address

Click the '+ New Driver' button to enter driver first name, last name and email address. Click the plus sign at the end of the line to complete the entry. 

Repeat the above step for all drivers you wish to invite to use the MyDriveSafe.Expert app.


Once you have added all your driver details, simply click next.

These details will be used to create the drivers account to enable them to access the application. Invites will be sent once all 4 steps have been completed. 


2. ENTER VEHICES - Add vehicles which require a vehicle check

Add all vehicles in your fleet which require a walkaround check. 

Type the vehicle registration into the field marked 'x' and click 'find vehicle'

You should see details of your vehicle pop up on screen, please click 'Add' to add to your list. 

Repeat steps for all vehicles.


We search on a vehicle database to automatically pull through to vehicle type to auto assign the relevant checklist. You can choose to customise checklists after the initial setup. 

Once you have added all your vehicles click 'Next' to proceed to step 3.



3. ASSIGN DRIVERS - Link vehicles to drivers to display in their app

Allocate drivers to the vehicles they are authorised to use. Vehicles allocated to drivers will appear on their driver app to enable them to complete a vehicle check against that vehicle. 


You will be presented with a list of drivers, use the search icon in the 'Select Driver' column to search and assign the driver(s) who are authorised to use this vehicle. 


If more than one driver is authorised to drive the vehicle in question, simply click the plus icon in the 'Additional Driver' column. This will add a duplicate line for the vehicle and enable you to assign an additional driver to this vehicle. A green pop-up box will also appear to confirm the line has been added ready for allocation. 


Once you have assigned at least one driver to each vehicle click 'Next' to proceed.


4. CONFIRMATION - Complete Setup

View a summary of your setup on this screen, and our terms and conditions prior to finalising account setup.

 

Tick to agree to terms, and click the 'Finish' button. Your account will then be setup, and welcome emails will be issued to all drivers entered on the driver screen. 


What happens next...



Once a driver has successfully logged into the app and submitted a checklist you will be able to review all checks in the 'Vehicle Checklist Reporting' tab. If a driver submits a checklist with a failed item this will add to the notification counter next to 'Manage Defects'. See Managing Defects (Unresolved Failed Item) for more information.
