How the MyDriveSafe.Expert Driver App Works

Modified on Fri, 3 Dec, 2021 at 1:41 PM

Enter the Driver login details provided in your welcome email, and select 'SIGN IN'.

The first time you log in you will need to read and 'Accept' the Disclaimer to use the app. If you do not agree access to the app will not be permitted and we advise you speak with your Company Manager to discuss.

If you have permission to drive more than one vehicle you will be presented with the option to choose which vehicle you are driving today. If you only have one vehicle you will jump straight to the next step.

If you have more than one checklist assigned to the vehicle you will be presented with the option to choose which checklist you would like to use. If you only have one checklist you will jump straight to the next step.

Choose 'Start check' to open a checklist for today.

You will now run through a series of items to which you must PASS or FAIL. If you want to fail an item in the check you will need to enter either a comment, an image or both to mark the item as failed - you will not be able to proceed without adding information. Once you have chosen 'PASS' or 'FAIL' you will move on to the next item.

If you want to 'Pass' the item you do not need to enter a comment or a photo to continue.

Once you have completed each item in the checklist you will reach a review stage. Here if you have categorised an item incorrectly then you can click on the item to change the answer if necessary. Once you are happy with the results please select 'Confirm' to submit.

You will be presented with a confirmation screen prior to submission complete status. You can choose to view the disclaimer again by selecting 'View disclaimer'. If you are happy to agree please select 'Yes' to submit the checklist from the Driver App to the Manager Portal.

To confirm your checklist has been uploaded to the portal select 'Checklist results'.

There should be an entry for the checklist you have just created - if this has successfully uploaded to the Manager Portal it will now show a black cloud with a tick in the centre.

If your checklist is not showing, or if the cloud icon next to the checklist is showing as a white cloud with no tick please review Unable to Upload Checklists - Troubleshooting Guide for Drivers.
