Why am I getting an error message when I enter my odometer reading?

Modified on Fri, 10 May at 2:07 PM

If your driver journey list is showing more miles than your odometer readings are showing, you will not be able to enter the end odometer reading and will receive the following error message:

This may be due to a few difference factors, please check the following;

1. Do you have the start and end odometer reading correct as of the start and end of the month you are recording journeys for?
2. Please double check you don’t have duplicate journeys in your list, for example if you have entered a journey manually and uploaded the journey as well.
3. If you submitted your journeys for the previous month but this was not approved in time, your start odometer reading will show the odometer reading you inputted at the end of the month you had tried to submit. You will need contact MileageCount to remove this, otherwise your odometer readings will not calculate correctly.
4. If this error message states less than 5% difference in recorded journeys to odometer reading you will still be able to make a submission, it is just alerting you to the fact.
