Reminder Alert Setup

Self setup available in Pro package ONLY 


Trigger this alert when vehicles reminder time (Time Based Reminders) or the odometer distance (Odometer Based Reminder) has been reached. 


First you will need to apply the Reminder to each vehicle. Navigate to the Administration tab, select the Asset, or multiple assets by holding down Ctrl and selecting multiple vehicles, you wish to apply the Reminder to. Once in the Asset settings navigate to Settings section, then click the pen and paper icon next to Reminder- you will now see the option to 'Add'.



A pop-up screen will appear- please choose which type of Reminder you wish to setup:




Odometer Based Reminder parameters - you can create a friendly name for each reminder for any option chosen. 


'Every X miles' mode will prompt you to enter frequency of reminder based on miles travelled. Choose Reset frequency and odometer reading starting at to setup this reminder:



Alternatively create a one off reminder when a specific odometer reading is reached - enter chosen odometer reading to trigger a reminder using 'At specific odometer' mode.



Time Based Reminder parameters:


'Every X days' mode will prompt you to enter frequency of reminder based on time. Choose frequency in 'Days' and date/ time to setup this reminder:


Alternatively create a one off reminder when a specific date/ time is reached and enter chosen date/ time to trigger a reminder using 'At specific date/ time' mode. 



If you have the Odometer or Time Based Reminder alert configured on your Alerts tab, should the time or odometer be reached an alert will now be triggered. 


If the alert is not yet setup navigate to the Alerts section and click the plus icon. Then set the alert up as follows with either Odometer/ Time Based Reminder created depending on which reminder types you have chosen:


Ensure you have set the priority type to notify the user in your preferred way - this is configured in the the User screen. As an example the alert is set to medium priority and the user selected has this to notify by email so this alert will trigger an email notification
