Standard Alerts
Available in Lite & Pro packages
View all alerts, alongside the location of where the event occurred on this screen.
As standard you are set up with the following alerts.
- Power Disconnect
- Potential Fuel Fraud
- Impact*
*This alert has only recently been added to the pre-configured alert list – if you do not see this alert please follow the steps to set this up – or contact the support team to add this for you.
Bespoke Alerts
Available in Pro package ONLY
Create your own alerts in the Alert tab by selecting the plus sign in the top right-hand corner of the alert list to open the alert building tool.
- Add Name, Cost Centre (choose default if none set up) and Priority (reflects how you wish to be notified – defined at user level).
- Next you need to choose the ‘actor’ which is the asset type – commonly this will be Vehicle. Choose any vehicle for all vehicles or alert by cost centre, asset group or category if you have these setup)
- Next you need to choose the event the alert is looking for in the ‘action’ section – for example if you go to the ‘Triggered Events’ (from the device) within this list you will find ‘Impact’.
- Finally, you need to choose if you want to assign the alert to be received by a user – this will in alert the customer in the way the user has outlined their priority preferences in the User record (none/ email/ SMS**).
**SMS notification is an additional cost and services needs to be activated by Support Team – please contact the Support Team to discuss.
- Select ‘Next’ and to review what you have setup then click ‘Finish’ to complete the alert creation
