Available in Pro package ONLY

Asset Groups allow you to separate your assets into group for the purposes of reporting. You can place Assets into multiple groups - for example you may wish to group vehicles by vehicle type (e.g. car/ van) and shift pattern (e.g. day/ night)

If you want to group asset data but restrict users viewing certain groups - please see Cost Centres.

To set up a new Asset Group navigate to Administration - Asset Groups and then select the plus sign to add new Asset Group.

You will need to choose the parent folder - depending on how you wish to set up the asset groups and enter in the name of the new group, then select 'Next'. You will be taken to a review screen - if all the information is correct please select 'Finish'

Now the group is created you can choose vehicles to add by clicking on the Asset Group and navigating to the Assets section where you need to select the plus sign to begin adding Assets.

Alternatively you can now add the Asset Group to the Asset via the Asset Screen. Navigate to Administration - Assets- select asset (or multiple) - edit Information screen.

You will now be able to run reports based on the vehicles allocated to Asset Groups - by typing 'any vehicle in group...' in the Asset Filter which will then run the report on the assets in the defined Asset Groups only.
